Gen 1:9-13 Then God said, “Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good.

Water was gathered into Oceans and earth demarcated. The massive weight and pressureof the water that pommels earth was borne by the sand bank – sea shore. Sea shore is God‘s amazing creation. Every sand grain is a geometric shape – when they are heaped together they distribute the weight. That is how sea waves are stopped by the tiny sand grain. Engineers take advantage of this. The weight of a 3-storey building can be borne by 81 inches of sand as sand grain divides the weight horizontally. Amazing God. And the Sea does not violate the God given boundary. Did you know that if you levelled out the earth‘s surface today, you‘d see there‘s enough water in the oceans to cover the whole earth to a depth of almost 3 km? When God commanded the Ocean to roll back, all this water had to be accommodated by the earth crust folding over as mountains and huge valleys were created in the ocean bed. Mt Everest once was under the sea!! Did you know that seashells have been found near the top of Mt Everest? It was once low enough to be under the sea! This may have happened during Noah‘s flood when all earth went under the flood. Some scientists believe at the beginning there may have been one continent. When did the continents separate? Some think it 8 was during Noah‘s flood. Others think it was during the birth of Peleg. Whose name meant divided. Gen 10:25And two sons were born to Eber. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. And his brother’s name was Joktan. There is an anticipation of this division in Gen 10:5.Gen 10:5By these were the coasts of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. Vegetation 11 Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them”; and it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good. 13There was evening and there was morning, a third day. What a Botanist God is. This is why a science of Botany exists. Plants were needed to sustain earth life – Water Cycle, Nitrogen Cycle and Oxygen Cycle. The principle is established that plants will multiply after their own kind. This is Genetics. Gregor Mendel, the Christian Priest, drew up the first laws of genetics. Therefore, the theory that Christianity is against Science is untrue. Fake news must not pretend to be Science. Seeds carry the genome – genetic features that determine all the characteristics of the tree. Many plants are pollinated by birds or bees, but these creatures were not made until the fifth day. If the days lasted for millions of years, how could these plants have reproduced and survived? It is necessary that Day 5 would be soon after Day 3. It could not be millions of years, for plants would have died off without pollination. God saw it was good – means that it served the purpose for which it was created. 9 Payer God You are the true Scientist, Engineer, Botanist and all else! How glorious, mind boggling yet perfect are all your works! Thank you that You are the light that does not hide but reveal unto us these treasures upon which you have founded our universe. Special – Ocean Corals

Ocean bed is covered with vegetation around the Equator.Ocean vegetation was created on Day 5.The Ocean bed is undulating – that is it has tall mountains and deep valleys. This makes the Oceans to have a larger surface area than the surface of the earth. This is why the Oceans are the real ecological balance of the globe. Ocean bed is covered with grass which produce large quantities of Oxygen. Ocean bed also acts like the world‘s kidney. Corals are alive in the Ocean bed. They absorb HCO3 (bicarbonate) ion produced when Carbon Dioxide (CO2) dissolves in water.CO2 is the result of respiration by living organisms and pollution of industry. When Ocean bed denudes further corals will not be enough to absorb all the CO2 of the earth. Destruction of the Ocean bed vegetation is the real reason for CO2 accumulation and global warming. At present the Corals are down to 40%. Since Corals remove acidic HCO3, they keep pH value of water constant. If not, no living organism can live. Enzymes that catalyse body metabolism of plants and animals can work only at regulated pH value. If the human body 10 loses more than two thirds of its kidney supply (that is one full kidney and one third of the other) we call it Kidney Failure. Human Body needs 33% of its kidney to function minimally. What does it mean that the world‘s corals are down to 40%? If it goes below 33% – earth will be in irrecoverable trouble. What has caused such damage to ocean corals? Ocean liners, Oil Tankers unload tonnes of garbage. Companies dump tonnes of clothing to keep prices competitive. Such selfish behaviour of man has nearly ruined the planet. God made all things bright and beautiful – all things wise and wonderful. Man selfishly used up too much with no care for future generations.
