Jesus Overcame Many Barriers
• Overcame religious barrier

Market Place Evangelism
• (30) They went out of the city, and were coming to Him.
• She had quite an Oikos – whole City
• They all came on her witness – Market place evangelism

First Reward of Right Belief & Faith
• Believe God is – one & only, Living God who created us

• I need a Saviour – Creator God came as Saviour – Jesus Christ

• Not my merit but His Saving Grace which paid my penalty with His life

• Proof of the pudding – when I receive Christ I arise from old life, sin & death into His New Life.
• Belonging Changes Nation
• 1Pe 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s own belonging, so that you may proclaim the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;
• Praise is when one turns from darkness to light
• Call your friend, relative, neighbour out of darkness to light
• Your call is the salt & light.
• Light when our influence is visible. Salt when imperceptible. If salt loses saltiness – flavour = taste or savour = preserving quality – we have lost why the Saviour calls us. We must never lose the Reason of our call in any season. If salt is mōranṓ, = foolish, lost purpose, how sad that would be. Mt 5:13. Society will corrupt & call evil good & make good to look evil. How much the digital revolution has infiltrated & washed off salt of sense & sensibility off children & youth. We cry. How can we get back saltiness
• Our Food is Doing His Will
• Joh 4:32-34 But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about (34) Jesus *said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
• Jesus fed on the Father’s will & it made His spirit strong
• We don’t want to be in that category – Jesus says – you do not know my work which is my food
• Accomplish His work of Salvation
• Fruit that will last
Greatest Accomplishment – It is Accomplished
• We try hard to Accomplish
• We say he is an accomplished person
• At 12 years – I am about my Father’s Business
• See Joh_5:36. In Joh_17:4 (the Intercessory Prayer) he will say that he has done (teleiōsas) this task which the Father gave him to do. On the Cross Jesus will cry Tetelestai (It is finished). He will carry through the Father’s programme (Joh_3:16). That is his “food.” He had been doing that in winning the woman to God.
Lift up your eyes – Best & Precious Harvest
Look On the Fields – Excuses
• Joh 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.
• Don’t delay – Harvest every 4th month – postpone – other priorities – no sense of once I was lost
• No understanding of salvation
• Offering blessing to the already converted
• Considering persons – my friends are nice people – 2 Cor5”11
• Not considering gospel as great treasure – lift up your eyes

Appeal or More Excuses
• 2 Cor 5:20 – God appeals thru us – so we plead 2Co 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
• No time
• Mighty are too sinful – Mighty are stars
• I don’t know enough
• I am embarrassed – actually we think less of His Salvation
• I don’t know enough – you only need to what He did for you

Wages Now & Fruit for Eternity
• Joh 4:36 “Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
• He who reaps – sow intending to reap
• Every prayer & every prophecy
• Wages now

• I sow He reaps – He sows I reap – partnership with God,
• Edenic Mandate
• Blessed them – Governmental Blessing of God

• We Have Heard Him Ourselves
• Joh 4:39-42 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed upon Him because of the saying of the woman, who testified, He told me all that I ever did. (40) Then as the Samaritans had come to Him, they begged Him that He would stay with them. And He stayed there two days. (41) And many more believed because of His own word. (42) And they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying, for we have heard Him ourselves and know that this is truly the Christ, the Savior of the world.
