I was a medical academic – of that, 8 years were in Pharmacology as lecturer in a State Medical Faculty in Sri Lanka. For the Past few years I have studied and researched ADHD Therapies and their efficacy. We have launched an Empathic Learning Centre for correction of ADHD. The reflections in this compendium came from my daily dealings. My hope is that grandparents and parents and perhaps teachers and doctors will find thought provoking and thought modulating ideas in these pages. And that we will behave daily as if Our Children are truly our Future. We must not leave these ideas to annual events sponsored with fanfare. Our children’s future cannot be left in the hands of the specialists – in fact on this subject, parents must be the specialists.
